SCNM training vs. allopathic (UA med)

I talked to a physician (who has both MD and ND) degrees-- and she predicts that in the future, due to increased demand for natural medicine, that many MD programs will have the option of getting an ND degree in 1-2 years. So that is a consideration. Obviously, I don't want any overly-condensed ND program, but if I learn a lot about naturopathic medicine in those 1-2 years.... then getting an MD first could be a viable option. But I'd still like feedback, especially with the wide scope of naturopathic medicine in Arizona.
