I personally think the nature of the work of NDs is much more fun... like being able to spend an hour talking with patients about their personal issues, and learning to make your own herbs, and dealing with non-emergency issues that allopathic medicine has problems dealing with, detox etc. But are naturopathic treatments RCT evidence based??? I am afraid of going to go to ND school and learning anectotal evidence.
My parents, who are both MDs, had a nervous breakdown when they found out that my ND gave me a Meyer's Push... as they were appalled that someone put calcium in my veins, as they were worried about my heart going into spasms. (sigh)
