One note should be made about this AANMC survey, however. Although over 500 ND's responded, the response rate was only 19%. This may indicate something about the quality of the survey. I'm not saying it isn't accurate-- but one may wonder about the other 81% who decided not to respond. What are their experiences like?

I've heard elsewhere on this forum that NDs in new practice make only about $20-30k, and $40-50k after that. I guess it's hard to tell, as NDs are often not salaried, but entrepreurs, which may result in a huge salary variance.
