The Mirena was suggested to me for fibrodial bleeing also, but I've had this thing for 10 months and have had eractic periods the entire time, sometimes twice a month. Also am experiencing severe joint pain (back and arm), skin itching, no libido, numbness in hands and feet. Doc said it would take up to a year to even out. Don't know if I can wait. Is it all the IUD?
