Don't get the Mirena!!!

I am sitting here after having the Mirena for 10 months. I had some sharp pains two nights ago, and ended up in the ER. It turns out that my IUD became embedded in my uterine wall and I had to get it surgically removed! I hate those things. I have 3 incisions in my abdomin all things to Mirena! I am under docs orders not to lift anything over 10 lbs (I have a 1 year old), no chores, no work, no driving, and no sex... for 2 weeks... no sex for 4 weeks! They NEVER worn us of this.. and my doc was beyond herself... she has never seen this before!
