Hello, I am new to the forum. I need some help about medication for postmenopausal osteoporosis. My mother is 50 years old and she just went through her menopause phase. It is said that when you have already done your menopause, you have a risk to get postmenopausal osteoporosis. My mother is afraid that she get osteoporosis, she has bought a medication called boniva which she take everyday in order not to get osteoporosis. Do you think she is right by taking this medication without even having postmenopausal osteoporosis?? I have read on http://www.drugdelivery.ca/s33981-s-BONIVA.aspx some side effects of boniva and I am worried. Can this affect her health?? Please give me some advice...
