It has been about 2 and half months now and I am so glad that I had mine removed. I have only lost about 5 lbs but I am okay with that. I still have mood swings but not nearly as bad and I can control some of them.
After removal I didn't bleed for the first 3 days. Then had a full blown period. More than I used to have and it had an odor but I was just glad to get it out. Had another period the middle of September just 4 days and regular cramping. I didn't have another period until 10-16 and I have never had a period like this. It was more than after my son was born. I had to change every 4 hours (I know normal for most of you). I had to get up in the middle of the night to change. Also, it had an odor not like infection but more like ick (not very explanitory sorry). But I was just glad to be getting this out of me. I weigh every day and thought I had gained more weight just before this period but I lost all of that pre-period weight and 3 more pounds (it was a 4 day period). Since then I have been feeling so much better. My stomach isn't as hard and I look more fat than pregnant now.
My acne is clearing up. I know that the np said it may take up to two years to get back to normal but I am just glad to be making progress!!!!!
