I'm all for class action lawsuit...I can't believe this much noise has not even made it to the media yet. That's what we need is to get the story, the doubt around Mirena into the media.
Unfortunately a huge component is that doctors are greatly at fault, not just Berlex. Many of the side effects people list are in the manufacturer data available to DOCTORS (not patients unless you really dig around on the internet, which really shouldn't be our jobs, that's why we pay a doctor). Mirena manufacturer data lists ovarian cysts as occuring in a large percentage of people. Their clinical studies were also only done on less than 1000 people to pass FDA. They list abdominal pain, increased migraines, and other factors. My biggest problem was insomnia, which was not listed, which of course spread to larger problems since I couldn't sleep. I spent thousands and thousands trying to get better and still am even having the thing out...Although I am finally doing so much better...
