juvenile arthritis

For the past 2 months, my 11 year-old has had some slight swelling in her first two knuckles on her right hand as well as joint discomfort (sometimes painful) in her knees, elbows, wrists, and ankles. The discomfort comes and goes. The pediatrician ran blood tests, and she said they all came back normal. After consulting with other doctors in her office, they referred us to an arthritis doctor who reviewed the test results and said that the erythrocyte sedimentation rate for a child is normal at 10, but my child's was 16. This apparently confirms that my child has juvenile arthritis, and he put her on Naproxen 325 mg. The doctor also seemed quite irritated when I questioned the use of prescription medicine and wanted to know about more natural approaches, and thus, avoided answering my questions as best as he could. I cannot find a naturopathic doctor in my area. What should be my next step?
