I feel foolilsh for not reading all these posts BEFORE I spent the $400 out of pocket and gained 10 or 15 pounds! Not to mention the excruciating pain of insertion even with two pain pills. I was hoping to LOSE wieght by going off of the pill and because I'm nearing 40 and the pill is a bit dangerous. It certainly works to prevent pregnancy! My husband thought I was fat already- now I only fit into a few pair of my pants and if I get any fatter, won't fit into my expensive wetsuits. No sex in this condition! I also got very frustrated with my exercise program. I increased my exercise- cycling 7 days a week, and cutting back on food. My chubbiness increased! This was sooo frustrating as I only exercise for the benefits and it's always a matter of discipline, not fun.
