About a month ago, I started my period, and went into the docs and had Mirena placed. I suposedly had to be "flowing" to place it easier... He said it went in perfectly. Then I got home, in pain, and took a nap. I woke up and felt something not right inside of my vagina. My doctor said I should only feel the string things when I slip my fingers in deep. He cuts them just outside of the Cervix, not just inside of the Vagina.
Well... I felt strings almost poking right out! I tugged a tiny and out came the whole Mirena!
Doc told me I had to wait to put another one in.... when I had my next period.
I came back this month to have the other one re-inserted.
As I type, I almost FEEL my body attempting to push it out. Likely I will have the same results as last month.
IS THIS NORMAL!?!?
I went into my doc last time and he looked at me as if I pulled the darned thing out!! Why would I ask for it, then pull it out, then ask to have it put back in? (Especially when it hurts more than my contractions did having my son!!
I'm just absolutely lost!
Anyone got some insight?
