I've had mine for exactly one year and am having it taken out on Friday. I feel like my uterus wants to push it out all the time, but it's in place according to my OBGYN when I went for my annual pap last month. Do yourself a favor and listen to your body!!! Don't spend another dime (or hundreds of dollars in this case) on an IUD. Read the posts! Your doctor sounds like a typical man. I'd find a new OBGYN if I were you. Good luck and let me know what happens.
