DON'T DO IT!!!!!!! I'm having mine taken out Dec. 7th after one year. It has ruined my life this past year and things just keep getting worse! There are A LOT of forums out there where women have been writing about all the problems with Mirena - or IUD's in general, but mostly the Mirena is what I've seen. I SO wish I had read them before I had mine put in!
