Well done you for viewing this site. Exactly the same happened to me. I am 43, 2 natural children, got to the size of being pregnant, bigger than I was when I was pregnant. put on the weight all around my middle, back, bum, thighs, rollypolly fat, even my face. Had the mirena removed for 6months, hve lost almost 20lbs, with more to go. Was a struggle at first, but then seems to want to go. My hormones are better. Less stress. More energy. No spots. No aching joints. Life is almost back to normal.
Get it out, begin your life again but be patient, it will happen! I did get depressed for the 1st couple of months, as nothing changed, but hang in there, you will see a change. You will have to diet, it helps. Good luck and let us all know how you get on.
