Mirena side -effects

I had my second Mirena put in 10 days ago after having a two month gap on the pill. Since its insertion i have had a tired, dragging sensation, extreme fatigue and awful backache.I have felt weepy and emotional which is unusual for me. I called my GP today, describing these symptoms but she said it was more likely to be the withdrawal from the progesterone only pill. I am too tired to function normally though and cannot imagine carrying on any longer in this pain ! It also scares me to think what this is doing to my body.
