I did not have this from the Mirena, but from another allergic response. it sounds like urticaria. Mine were "hives" under the skin, not raised as they usually are. Mine didn't itch either. Bet it will go away slowly. If not you will have to look into other possibilities of allergy. Mine is to a component used in the coating used on different tablet medications.
