Well it has been about 5 1/2 months now. My belly isn't hard anymore. Now I look more fat than pregnant. The crazy person still rears her head but sometimes I can control it now. I cry more now than yell. I still get that going to explode feeling (hate it) but I can walk away and calm down. I don't always feel like I need to eat. Now I can stop (okay most of the time but portions are reasonable now). I don't have that insatiable appetite feeling. The weight is starting to come off. I have the normal water retention at period time which is regualar at 26 days instead of 28. It is still heavier than it used to be but is less than it was the first 4 months.
We are using condoms now until my husband has surgery. I have decided that I am not going to put anything else in my body.
I think that we are going to have a long journey to return to our previous selves. But we can all do it. It will be a road that is long but I can't wait to see the end.
