I decided to get the Mirena IUD 5 years ago this August. It was the best decision I ever made. I love the Mirena. I will be getting it taken out this year to have a baby and will defiantly be getting one back in after that. I've been reading all of the experiences from the women that have been posting messages on here and cannot believe the problems they've been having. My doctor told me that if you haven’t had a child you should never get the Mirena. Could that be why half of the woman are experiencing these symptoms?
I feel great and hope that people that have had positive experiences like myself will post messages on here too. Maybe some of the problems that I see on here like “rashes” and “acne” could be caused by something else rather than the Mirena.
Maybe the toothaches I’ve been having have been caused by my Mirena too. LOL
