I really had to reply in support of your reply im a woman in UK who was so relieved to see this site as im suffering many if not all of the symptoms listed in this forum. Ive just fought hard and long to get my hosp and local GP to agree to remove this iud after nearly 6 months of hell. I was so hurt to see someone belittling the pain and suffering that so many have endured. So good on you for pointing out her crass insensitivity. I have sufffered hair loss, back and abdominal pain, mood swings, incessant bleeding and numerous tablets to remedy the problem which seem worse than when I first went to my consultant. Im having it removed on 28/3/08. I will let you know how I feel post removal.
