hair Loss Mirena

My dermatologist suggested going to Costco/Sam's Club and buy the Highland brand (Rogain) for MEN. It's pretty inexpensive...$18. The only difference is that women's is 2% and the men's is 5%. All Rogain is going to do is stop the current hair from falling out. I have seen siginifiant growth come back and it looks like I have fine baby hairs sticking out of my head. NO growth has come back where I really want it to. If you want to go organic - you can buy "hair fertilizer" at a health food store and try that. I've been using shampoo from the health food store to help with hair growth. Don't know if it's working but I refuse to use crap products on what hair I have left. Unfortunately, if your hair root has been permanently damaged from the Mirena, no Rogain or any other product is going to make it grow back. Good luck! And know that I feel your pain!
