i was considering getting a mirena until i read all the bad info. i just had my 2nd copper iud removed. they were fine, up until my body decided to kick them out, which was very painful. now i have to start from scratch again. i'm not a big condom fan (mostly the rubber smell really turns me off) and am looking for some recommendations. my gyn recommends the pill. i didn't tolerate it, but that was about 15 years ago and they have improved, i guess. any tips out there?? i am married (12 years), so we ain't newlyweds anymore, but still would like to be spontanious (as much as is possible with 2 kids).
