Wow, what can i say? after having the coil fitted 9months ago i have been through some really stressfull times. I really thought i was going mad, i thought i was just going through the age process and at 45 you can imagine my upset in thinking its goingg to get worse. My ailments consisted of headaches, itchy eyes. Had eye test NOTHING. Depression, Anxiety, mood swings, Memory loss, brain fog. Thought i was losing my mind, struggling to do my job ( writing reports ) could'nt remember basics.
No energy, lack of motivation, physically drained by late afternoon. Usually very active. Weight gain, my god! healthy eater always, 2ltrs water daily. My weight increased to 26lbs in the 9mths, and i even loss my appitite but suffered heart burn when eating acidic foods. Water retention and bloated feeling. Back ache, constant. Need to pee but no water. Ive had blood tests and water samples gallore and my GP just prescribes anti biotics/ suggests it is all in my mind. Im on sickness review at work due to all the time off whereby before the coil i had not taken sickleave in 5 yrs.
My family breathed a sigh of relief last night when i told them what id found out from this site and look forward to me getting back to normality.
After finding this site i feel so much better, i could burst into tears. Thanks everyone, im off to the GP at 6pm and wont be leaving until this thing is out.

Thanks to everyone, i can cancel my appointment to the psychiatrist and book my summer holiday. (",)

I will continue to visit this site and update you on my progress back to normality.
