I was on the mirena for a year and also lost more than half my hair. I got it removed almost a year ago. I now been dignosed with endo and abnormal antibodies. I only wonder if it was all caused by the Iud. Even if your hormones were ok, get your doc to do other tests. If you r still not convinced get it removed. For me it was the worst thing ever.
