I would like to be involved also! I have had the Mirena for 3 almost 4yrs & it has been H***. I can not take hormone based birth control & they told me the Mirena was perfect for me, no periods & the hormones won't effect you because they don't leave your uterus & does not enter the bloodstream. Well That was a load of sh**. I am having the exact problems I have with hormone birth controls & it is much worse. I have problems with sensitive skin, mood swings, aggression, constant sore breast, swollen hands, feet & belly, enlarged thyroid (have been thru all thyroid testing all tests are normal), heart palpitations, no sex drive, tired all the time, painfull cramping, sharp shooting pain in abdomen, depression, packed on a whopping 60lbs, swollen painful joints. Keep in mind I am a 26yrs old but feel like I am 60yrs old. I am so tired of feeling like this and I can not have it taken out without shelling out some loot. I can not afford to feel like this nor can I afford to have it taken out. What do you do? I would have never even thought of having this put in if I new what I do now!! There should be major warnings for this product.
