I had my Mirena removed June 2008. Had three very normal periods (no excessive bleeding) and got pregnant at the end of August. I just went in for my 11 week ultrasound and discovered no more heartbeat. My doctor had also given me the green light to start trying to conceive as soon as it was removed but now I am trying to research if my body was not ready after just 3 periods--hadn't had one in 5 years. Will wait a longer period of time when we try again so hopefully my body is ready to support a pregnancy. I am 34 and healthy, no prior pregnancies or complications.
