I am hoping something will happen. Mine was inserted on 9-25-08. (8 weeks post pardom with our 4th child) I have had it 6 weeks and is causing cramping. After discovering that the strings were no longer there at week 1 I have had a series of scans to confirm where the IUD is located. I have to get a laporoscopy in about a week to remove it since it's perforated through my uterus. I am super upset and feel that it needs to be taken off the market. It seems the odds of something going wrong with the IUD is much greater than what is on the disclaimers.
