Mirena Removal/Bleeding

I had mirena put in about two weeks ago and had it removed today because of the awful cramps that otc medicine didn't do anything for..I've already started bleeding and I'm wondering if this is normal? Also my doctor re-prescribed Yas for me. Can I start taking Yaz right away or will this screw up my system?
