I got the Mirena in September 2007 and I have experienced weight gain since than. When the economy got back I had to cancel my health insurance and I was left with this horrible thing. I am now able to get my health insurance now that I have graduated college and can afford it. I suffer from depression that causes me to cry all day at times, horrible mood swings one minute I'm happy the next I feel like biting my husband's head off. Not only that I suffered weight gain that is unbelievable. I should have listened to my husband who told me not to get it but I didn't want to get pregnant on accident because I wanted to accomplish various goals. Now I wish I would have just listened to my husband. I went from a 11 to a 17. I feel so fat and unhappy with myself. I would love to sue the crap out of the mfs' who made this and than lied about the side effects.
