my symptoms :

ive had my mirena for almost a year now , and im experiencing some side effects , that i cant tell are "mirena" related or not . or maby just pregnancy related...... you hear alot of women talk about how they were before and after pregnancy , health wise . before i had rowynn , i was pleasantly overweight . now , i still have all the babywight , even though i work 6 days a week at a fairly pyhsical job . i used to be hyperactive , dancing , jumping , running and rough play . after i had the mirena implanted , 3 months after rowynn was born , i started expriencing such severe lower backaches that i can barely stand for four hours without wanting to leave work early. last month , my period lasted 13 days . my hormones are so out of whack that twice ive produced breast milk (i never breast fed due to LACK OF milk) in the last month that clogged my ducts and led to a hospital visit where i almost went into surgery to remove a " liquid mass" . luckily , my surgeon decided to put me on one last dose of antibotics which ended up working . my sexual urges arent as great or as often , which i wouldnt be surprized if it was just an effect of post pregnancy , but incase this info may be helpful to someone else , im including it . ive had the mirea checked because another thing im experiancing is occasional pain in my uterus and cramping . so far , two doctors have said its just fine . im getting it removed anyways as soon as i can. the sooner i can get myself to where i was before i was pregnant , the happier , healthier mommy i can be .
