Mirena and class action lawsuit

I got Mirena insertedin December 2008, two months after the birth of my baby. The insertion was okay, kinda painful, but other than some periodic cramping in the weeks after, I had few side affects. I gained ten pounds, but I attributed it just to the hormones, because I do not do well with any hormones at all. At my six weeks ultrasound, my doctor could not find the strings, no matter how hard she tried. I had a pelvic ultrasound and sonogram, and still no IUD. Finally, with an x-ray, my doctor found the Mirena embedded in one of my fallopian tubes. This was not at all what I expected could happen when I decided to get one inserted, and if I had any clue that this would happen, I would have just gone back on the pill! I had surgery to remove it one week ago, and it went okay. My doctor says that all of my reproductive organs are intact, but I will never really know if anything has been harmed by the Mirena until I try to have another baby and can or cannot. What if it had dislodged after my six week follow-up and my doctor never knew it was gone? What if I had gotten pregnant again, or even worse? I want everyone to know that Mirena is not just the simple birth control that its makers try to market it as. It can be a killer.
