Hairloss?

I got my IUD 9 monghs ago. My hairdresser (and one of my best friends) has noticed the past 6 months or so that my hair has been getting very thin, and it is very noticable to me the past 3 months. I have PCOS and I am on Blood pressure meds also (both may cause some hair loss) and my gyn thinks its the PCOS, but why the recent loss vs say 3 years ago or 6 years ago when I found out about my PCOS, I can't shake the feeling especially after reading some of these post that my hair loss is my IUD. Like I said my gyn says they have never heard of this and they have never had any complaints and they have ordered a bunch of blood test for my thyroid etc...I paid cash for this thing and its almost paid off, so I had to jump the gun but I also don't want to be bald...I swear I am not a hipocondract (just a poor speller) any info would be appreciated....
