Generally your best bet is in a licensed state, in an area with a large enough population to support the practice, but NOT in a city with a naturopath school. New grads have had a tendency to stay near the school where they graduate from. This causes an overabundance of naturopaths in some areas.

Less than scrupulus naturopaths will overuse high ticket procedures, like IV therapy in areas where it's allowed (and sometimes where it isn't). I've seen a good deal of this in Washington.

Some naturopaths have had luck in non-licensed states, too. But this often involves some HEFTY supplement sales.
