why?

I have visited Bastyr a couple of times. The first time was during their ND Open House. Because it was an Open House, I think they put their best students forward (or at least, their most enthusiastic students). I had mixed feelings after that visit. I love the campus and love the Seattle area in general.

I think it's important to visit for a day,sit in on a class to really get a sense of what it's like to be a naturopathic student there.

I, too, am concerned about all the negativity toward Bastyr. But it all depends on where you are coming from. Bastyr was accused of being "new-agey." But is this necessarily a bad thing? Maybe from a classical-naturopath-traditionalist, but from a person who believes in basic science, new-agey isn't so bad, right?

Good luck with your decision.
