thanks for sharing. your story is not the first i've heard and that is what makes it difficult for me to decide on pursuing naturopathic medicine.

If you wouldn't mind a few questions--
1) Is (was) your practice something you started directly after graduation?
2) do you feel that not having a required residency program hurts the field of naturopathic medicine?
3) What do graduating nd's think about joining integrative medical clinics, working alongside mds and other health care professionals?
4)Do you think being an nd in seattle is difficult because there are so many established practices already? Ever consider going to other states?

So many more questions but, I'll contain myself.
