Actually, one of the problems oft cited on this list is the LACK of science behind a lot of the therapies taught at Bastyr. Things like etheric bodies, plant spirits, and food allergies being held responsible for every conceivable malady. Many posts have expressed feeling duped by ad slogans like "science based natural medicine". And, though Bastyr was the school I attended, I have to concur. After year two, if you hope to find science in your education, you need to look outside of of the dogma being taught.
Other complaints on this list and it's previous incarnation have included lack of significant clinical training and poor faculty. Again, I must concur. I was so unimpressed with both my fellow students and the clinician faculty that I realized while still a student that I would never choose a Bastyr grad as my primary care provider.
Just my two cents
