Re: Re: why?

I've only visited Bastyr. However, there was a naturopathic medicine forum that I attended a couple weeks ago and I had a chance to speak to practicing ND's who attended NCNM SCNM and Bastyr. One ND who taught at SCNM said the campus is very dependent on computers. She said all students had laptops, where notes were available online. Most students took notes on their laptops. She also said Arizona had the greatest scope of practice, they have broad prescription priveleges, they deliver babies, they "do it all." She felt that SCNM was the most "integrative" of the 3 West Coast naturopathic medical schools and talked about how great their clinic was.

She then went on to talk about NCNM and like many other posts, confirmed that it was very traditional. I believe she even said "Super Naturopathic."

She put Bastyr somewhere in between SCNM and NCNM.

Of course, it would be best for you to visit the schools so you can get a better idea of what fits you best. But I hope this description was at least a helpful start.
