Making a big investment for an uncertain financial future can certainly be scary. Nobody should go into naturopathy (or any field of healthcare) just to make big $$. But you still have t make a comfortable living.
Here's my advice:
1. Work as much as possible (on campus or off) during school so you can take out the minimum amount of loan money.
2. Have a backup career to keep you going until your naturopathy business takes off. Or, in case it doesn't. Many schools offer accelerated career track degrees to students who already have a bachelors. For instance, if you go for an RN degree you could work as a nurse, starting at 45K or more, and taper back as your business grows.
Just my 2cents.
