Post-removal diary
Well...i have had it removed! Was not the most pleasant experience of my life to say the least. My doc could not find the strings and had to dilate me, which was not much fun since i had c-sections. I am feeling a bit crampy, slight bleeding but not much different. My doc said she was curious as to how i felt post mirena, which i am glad she is so understanding. I am keeping record of all my symptoms. Will update this thread ever so often, as so many women are curious as to what happens afterwards. We all are so eager to write when we feel wronged yet don't report after symptoms have gone away. ***any birth control is a personal choice, and we as women must decide if certain benefits of any happen to outweight the negatives. My best advice is to educate yourselves as well as choosing a doctor that respects your thoughts and feelings. Until next time...
