Rather be pregnant than fat

I am so happy I found this web site. Over the years I have tried numerous types of birth control. The shot made me gain 30 pounds in three months. I switched to the pill and put on an extra 10 pounds. Since then I have lost faith in birth controls that use hormones. I recently had my first child and am in the process of losing weight. I was told about the mirena. My Gyno just ordered it for me. My apt. is coming up soon. After reading the complaints from all of you I have decided to not get the mirena. I am gonna make my husband read some of these responses. I would rather be slim and pregnant then fat and depressed. Anyway, I am going to order a diaphram along with the spermicide and that's it. I would rather take the five mins. of inconveniance than being fat, for what. I don't know why i've spent the last 2 days on the internet trying to find a birth control pill that won't make me gain weight. For some reason the hormones have that effect on me. This sight has made me feel a whole lot better about my decision. I know my husband would rather me be sexy and slim.
