Severe Back Pain
I saw on a web search that a lady named Lynn 14 posted a message on this site on 4/26/02 that said that she had severe back pain from Mirena puncturing the lumbar. I was not able to get to her message to read it (I think the message is too old to read). Has anyone else experienced severe back pain after Mirena was inserted? I had Mirena inserted on a Wednesday and I started having back pain on a Saturday and it got so bad by Tuesday that I went to the hospital. I have been suffering with this severe back pain for almost 3 weeks to the point that yesterday I had to get steroid injections and an epidural for the pain. I occured to me today to search the web to see if maybe my pain had something to do with the Mirena and sure enough it seems that it may. I called my Dr. to get Mirena removed but I am curious if anyone else has had this awful experience.
