I went to the hospital 10 weeks ago to have the mirena cil fitted and they were unsuccesfull. I was then admited 6 weeks ago to have it done under general. when I came out of theatre I was told they had puncherd my uterus. I have had alot of problems over the years and alot of sergery so this just added to my problems. I went to see my consultant that said I can have a hysterectomy or try and fit the coil again.I am 33 and not sure if I want a hysterectomy so opted for the coil again. I am booked in for friday but am getting more worried each day that i am making a big mistake. My cosultant feels very confident that there wont be any problems this time? I have not been told of any side effects of the coil and not sure if it will be right for me if they do manage to fit it. I already suffer from PMT so will this make things worse??I know peopl that have had it and they are great but I am not that confident. I would love to hear from any one that has gone through the same or simular .
