thinking about having the mirena

I I am a 43 year old woman who is thinking about having the mirena inserted. Can I get some advice. I have been reading some of the comments on this web site and so far I don"t think the mirena is for me . I already suffer for very tender breast and suvere back pains before my peroids. I was hoping that this proceedure would help with this.As it helped anyone? please let me know.
