Dont do it! I am 35 with three children. I never had heavy periods or bad cramps. After the birth of my last child the doctor made Mirena sound great for BC. WRONG! I had it placed two weeks ago and have been bleeding since with large clots and heavy cramping. My back is killing me and I have not been myself. I'm cranky, tired, bleeding, cramping, and have a new baby to care for. I would not recommend this to anyone. I want it out!
