Use of Mirena IUD for heavy bleeding and constant pain

Posted by Debbie on 10/19/05 6:39:58 AM

I am almost 29, married with 3 kids. I have had 2 surgeries on my ovaries and uterus already. I am trying to buy some time to make it through the holidays and volleyball season before having a partial hysterectomy. My dr wants to insert the Mirena IUD for a couple of months, does anyone have any advice on this. Is this worth the side effects only till the first of the year. Thanks!!!
