Uterus "falling out" (and mirena)

Hello, I am 7.5 mos. postpartum. I had a mirena inserted 6 months ago. I still contantly feel as if my uterus is falling out. Sometimes it's hard to walk. For the past 2 weeks it has been constant, not just at the end of the day when I'm fatigued. Today lying on my back I checked the mirena strings, felt the tip of one. Pressing forward toward my abdomen I felt a big, swollen lump. For a few days there has been very light spotting, feeling of menstrual cramps. What's going on? Are these things: falling sensation, lump, cramp related? Familiar to anyone? Am I having my period? Will I ever feel as if my uterus is not falling out of my body? Any suggestions?
