weight gain and depression

I wished I found this site earlier. I've had the Mirena since Nov 06 and I've put on 12 lbs, acne breakouts, back pain, bloatness, severe mood swings and worse of all, I've now been diagnosed with depression. My doctor says it is not related and suggested antidepressants. But I'm sure that it is caused by the Mirena and am getting it removed tomorrow. I really hope that this will stop the symptoms and make me feel "normal" again. Wish me luck.
