I'm attempting to do just as Vance ponts out. I also went for a nursing degree and am working in an ER as I try to grow my integrative health practice. It will take a long while before I'm out from the burden of debt from naturopath school. But, at least, it allows me to feed myself and keep paying back loans and other debts.

I have personally known other naturopaths who luck into a practice situation right from school. But they are the exception. Others I have met make a bundle "padding" patient bills with costly procedures (usually only works in licensed states) or supplement sales. I feel this is unethical. Still others were "trust fund surfers" who will never have to worry about making a real living.
