Whey protein intolerance

Why not use rice or soy protein instead?

It is likely that whey is not your only allergic response. The body may be able to utilize some of the whey but the resulting allergic response (I assume diarrhea and possible nausea) is short circuiting the body's ability to build up a storage capacity. It is also flattening the small intestine over time which decreases absorption. The most effective thing you might do is have yourself checked for other allergies (think wheat, etc.) to make sure you aren't just inflaming yourself daily.

I hope this is helpful. It is for informational purposes only, and does not in any way alleviate your need to have a local doctor that can advise you.
