This was brought on by formaldehyde in a new home. formaldehyde is in the wood and carpet, and when the house is closed up for winter with the furnace running, it gets even worse. Our dermatologist treated him with medicated creams and UV treatments. I sent my son to florida for a week to visit family, and when he returned, there was not a spot on him. After 24 hours exposure to the formaldehyde in the new home, he looked like he did before he left. It\'s taken 6 years, but the formaldehyde has worked its way out of the house and my son no longer has the problem. The point of this is that the sun healed him faster than anything, and we were able to establish the cause of the flare-up. Good Luck,
