Posted by evelyn on 02/17/03 at 09:00 PMon january 3, 2003 i took my son who is 16 to the emergency room because of stomach pain. i found out that he had protein in his urine. i took him again today on feb. 17, 2003 he still has protein in the urine. he was given a cup to take home to urinate in and he is to bring it back to the doctor on 2-19-03. can you tell me what will be the next step if again protein show up? is this a serious health problem?
